What Is Your Capacity of Belief?

I was always told it was about what I believed.

I had this dream last night that I’d love to share with you. Just note: I don’t dream like most people. Wisdom pervades my dreams, teaching me as I dream.

Oneing ~ Embodying The Grace of Light & Awareness

I’m in a race through the universe, through time and eternity, where what I experience is determined by my capacity of belief.

I’m racing with people who are running at five, ten, twenty-five, or even fifty percent of their capacity of belief, which determines the amount of life and worlds they experience as they pass through. Some run, not experiencing anything.

I run through plain, drab, and colorful psychedelic lives and worlds, worlds where dreamers dream and where the traumatized have scorched the earth. I notice that what we experience, is determined not by what we believe, but by our capacity for belief. I run through world after world where millions have stopped to dwell in their limited capacity for belief.

Then I see it: Our capacity for belief creates the worlds we experience. A growing few experience whole universes with endless timelines and lifetimes into this vast space of endless possibilities, when I come upon a quantum lake out of which all things rise. It is there, at this omega point, that I taste and see beyond all I can conceive or have fathom.

Gathered For The Feast

I am embraced by the disillusionment of my belief into the arms of love, where In the Divine, I am everywhere and nowhere, all at once, Seeing through the eyes of love, Burning with a heart of joy, Resting in eternal peace, and I am home. Home with all who are One, gathered by the lake, at the Feast of Oneing, Drinking deep the Source of Awe, Pulsating in the Quantum Light arising from the dark waters.

Waking Up

I wake up remembering Julian of Norwich, that I’m with her, beyond all naming, with the universe in a nut, in the Oneing, at the Omega point of light, Only to realize, it is the Alpha and the Omega of all that is and ever has been, and that now, that Light of Awareness arises in my heart.

Post Note: I’ve been working with my dreams since I was seven. I started Contemplative Monk because of a dream, and I’ve been writing down my dreams since I went to Haden, where I embodied my learning of Dreamwork and Spiritual Direction.

Dreamwork has helped me heal and integrate the lessons from my trauma more than any other process I’ve found, but as dreams and visions sometimes mix together with symbols and revelations, for me, they uncover the source of the Divine within.

Think about it: If we are formed of stardust, imbued with the breath of the Divine…Beyond our awareness, what lies at our source?

Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside awakens. ~ Carl Jung
